I Live To Fight Another Day

All I can say about today was it was better than expected. I have people looking out for me. And I am financially sound.

I want to run away but no one will let me. Are they trying to make me braver? Stronger? I’m not sure if I am capable of that or if I want to be.

I live to survive another month and it may be by the skin of my teeth, it may be at great cost, but we are not going to starve, we are not going to lose our broadband, or our energy, or our house.

I told my counsellor yesterday that I spent every month from the age of 13 to 19 having those fears and they weren’t completely unfounded.

Tomorrow will be another day.
