I woke up eagerly early and checked my bank account and did a little whoop of joy when I saw I had been paid.
My custom on payday is to get up early and pay all my credit cards, my boyfriend for my share of the household costs and now my overdraft.
I realised slightly sadly today that in the past when I had a lot of credit cards it would take me a good hour to make all the payments.
Now that all my debts are on 2 cards and my overdraft it only took me about 20 minutes.
Which, you know, is what I have been aiming for, less debts. Less time consumption on paying the debts.
But I had come to like my little ritual.
Oh well, we must all move on eventually.
This will be a quick little post as I plan on getting very ‘merry’ today at the Hen party and won’t be back till tomorrow.
We ended the food budget month £43.39 over budget.
I have decided that I will still keep the new month’s food budget at £200 but I will monitor it as it may be a case that now we are eating from home (and not buying canteen lunches at work) the budget may have to be increased, which I can just about do.
I love pay day, for obvious reasons 🙂
